Hello, I’m Nicolau Santos. I am a Computer Science Ph.D. candidate at UFRGS and a researcher with a passion for creating intelligent systems that can understand and interoperate in a meaningful way. My journey began in Petroleum Engineering, providing me with a solid foundation in complex systems, and later evolved into Artificial Intelligence, with a focus on Data Interoperability, Ontology Engineering, and Semantic Reasoning.

Currently, I am a researcher on the OntoKG project, a collaboration between the UFRGS Institute of Informatics and CENPES/Petrobras, and a member of the INF-ENERGIA (CNP-q) research group. My work centers on creating knowledge models and applying Multi-Agent Systems to solve interoperability challenges in the energy industry.

This space serves as my digital portfolio and a blog where I explore and share my readings and learnings on technology, books, and the intersection between different fields of knowledge.
